NCC And NSS
Under the leadership of NSS students
they are informed to keep the campus clean, and not to damage the infra
structure such as electric fittings, furniture, black boards,
painted walls, garden plants, glass windows etc. It is observed that
students display great civic sense in preventing others from dirtying the
campus and if dirtied by chance, cleaning it forthwith.
In the instances of natural calamities NSS and NCC committees and
their volunteers make an appeal for collective action of the entire college
to provide substantial relief work. This proved to be very useful at the
occasions like earthquakes at Killari, Latur and Gujarth. Students
extend positive response for tree plantation drives and blood donation camps
from time to time.
Students council, NCC and NSS are the most useful fora
for leadership training. The college provides full scope to the
students in developing leadership qualities among them.
I.
Units of NCC and NSS provide maximum
scope for team activities and individual development. The students of this
college have come out with flying colors by parading with the Indian Prime
Minister or bagging the best volunteers award on Republic Day at Delhi.
